Wish I had seen your message some time ago because it sounds like pretty much the same thing as I’m going through myself. Startups truly have a unique flavour in the sense that you rarely have much fundings and have to invent a lot of things as you go.

One of the most frustrating things imo is that you do not have much data to rely on. You can do so many customer profilings and identify all your ambassadors but in the end, all the important metrics for turning the churn tide just aren’t there. Or at least not where I work.
